Rustenberg John X Merriman Bordeaux Red Blend 2020 - 750ml
Upon opening, the John X Merriman reveals intense aromas of cassis, black currant, and dark fruits, which are complemented by subtle notes of cigar tobacco and sour cherry. The palate is full-bodied and powerful, with firm tannins and a rich, fruity character that lingers long after each sip.
For those who prefer a softer, more nuanced wine, the John X Merriman rewards patience. With age, the wine's tannins soften, allowing the savory palate to develop and reveal a range of tertiary flavors and aromas. This transformation results in a wine that is not only delicious but also highly drinkable.
